Peroxide Mocha is one of Kid Whatever's projects. You may have heard his remix on the Sensualists remix album. I didn't actually meet him at the Sensualists show I saw when I was in Portland even though we were both there. Thanks to the old e-mail, we've gotten in touch and he was kind enough to send me a copy of this. I actually heard a little bit of it at E*Rock's place and I thought it was the funniest thing ever. They do their own version of the timeless Eddie Murphy classic "boogie in yr butt". Som of the other songs are very well produced considering the instrumentation seems limited mostly to a casio and a drum machine. I don't know if this is also a Pacific Northwest thing or if they are just young and rebellious, but it's definitely punk rock in a good way. This I think is much harder to pull off with electronic music since electronic instruments could be less spontaneous, but obviously it's possible as they have shown.
